BOO8 REVIEW

B008 was a most wondrous BOO! Being at Gaia Grove felt so reminiscent of Tuscawilla BOO's gone by. Rustic and magical, my senses felt heightened by the energy that filled the air. B008 Thanks:My first thanks goes to the BOO crew. The organized efforts of all are greatly appreciated. Scooby and his band of merry men worked their asses off --the clearing of the property took months. The laser show is always wonderful but this post year's show was even more amazing. The Darkside of the Moon show rocked! Thanks Laser Greg!! Ms. Geri and her kitchen wenches worked wonders on the crew/band food. They did so much on such limited funds. Thanks to Veggiemon Craig for all the donated produce and to Opal for the tasty homemade bread she donated. Those ill-skinny musicians left BOO 10 lbs heavier! Also thanks to my gate crew for working with me thru the last minute changes that were made. The Goddess provided JoAnna Montana for us this past year. With special thanks to both for such a magical place for our family reunion. Our few years at the lake had temporarily masked our longing to play in the woods. Thanks to JoAnna & Mark for reminding us of what we really yearn for all year long! Thanks to Coffee Culture, who joined us again. What a lifesaver they are! Nothing chases away the demons from the night before like an excellent cup of java. All of us are grateful that you've joined our family! Also like to thank soundguy Rick. He came to us thru a "deal" and has decided to become one of us. A much welcome member to our fold! Gimmee some sugar baby! BOO8 EATS

B008 Pumpkin carving contest: The winner of the B008 pumpkin carving contest was LOLA!!! Lola is the youngest daughter of Rusty & Bubbles. Lola's pumpkin piece was titled "The Spitter"-- lucky for her the judge is partial to spitting! B008 Gossip: "The Biter" Friday night one of our patrons lost control of herself. Leaving her marks on quite a few people. She was ejected from the event. "The Crush" One of our littlest redheads hung out with her blond boy of choice all weekend. Possibly learning at such an early age that boys can be elusive creatures when ordered around. "The Hookup" One of our merry men has found love in the woods. The matron moved him right into her grove. B008 Wrap up: All in all it was a great B008. If all goes well this year, we'll be at Gaia Grove again for B009. Thanks to everyone for participating in B008. I saw a lot of familiar faces but also quite a few new ones as well. My love goes out to all--new and old. May the Goddess smile upon us all and I look forward to seeing everyone again at B009!~~Michelle
